Our many years of expe­ri­ence and our con­ti­nuous stri­ving for inno­va­ti­on have made safe­tec the world mar­ket lea­der in the field of smo­ke detec­tion sys­tems. The cur­rent SDS-72 smo­ke detec­tion sys­tem, the third gene­ra­ti­on of its kind, is the first sys­tem to com­ply with Reso­lu­ti­on MSC.339(91) and once again repres­ents our com­mit­ment to inno­va­ti­ve con­cepts, this time with vari­ants A, B and C, which are tail­o­red to dif­fe­rent pro­ject requirements.

A new mile­stone in our histo­ry of inno­va­ti­on is the ‘Air­flow’ cal­cu­la­ti­on tool, which has been spe­ci­al­ly deve­lo­ped for the cal­cu­la­ti­on of smo­ke detec­tion sys­tem sam­pling net­works. It enables detail­ed pre­dic­tions of the beha­viour and respon­se times of indi­vi­du­al sam­pling net­works, cal­cu­la­tes ope­ra­ting points of fan units in smo­ke detec­tion sys­tems and allows net­work opti­miza­ti­on mea­su­res to be che­cked befo­re a sys­tem lay­out is appro­ved. In this way, it helps to make the sui­ta­bi­li­ty of a sys­tem lay­out for the requi­re­ments of clas­si­fi­ca­ti­on socie­ties transparent.
